Use this procedure to fill oil in the gearbox.

Action
Turn axis-4 to the calibration position.
DANGER
Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.
WARNING
Handling gearbox oil involves several safety
risks, see
Gearbox lubricants (oil or grease)
on page
36.
Remove the oil plugs in the wrist.
Turn axis-4 through so that the oil plug on
the side of the wrist points downwards.
Then turn axis-4 another 90°.
Let the remaining oil run out through the oil
plug hole, tilthouse.
CAUTION
The gearbox can contain an excess of pressure that can be hazardous. Open
the oil plug carefully in order to let out the excess pressure.
Action
Move the upper arm to a position where the
oil plug, wrist points upwards.
Move axis-5 to a position where the oil plug,
tilthouse points upwards.
DANGER
Turn off all:
electric power supply
hydraulic pressure supply
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.
