Usage Guideline
A router's collection of LSA data is stored in a link-state database. The contents of the database, when
subjected to the Dijkstra algorithm, result in the creation of the OSPF routing table. Both of these
keywords can be appended to all other keywords used with the show ipv6 ospf database command to
provide more detailed information.
Example
This example shows how to display the database summary about OSPF routing processes.
Switch# show ipv6 ospf database
OSPFv3 Router with ID (10.76.37.30) (Process 1)
ADV Router
(Optional) Specifies the process ID. The ID of a process is used
internally and should be uniquely locally assigned.
(Optional) Specifies to display all the LSAs of the advertising router.
The router ID can be specified as an IPv4 address.
(Optional) Specifies to display information only about the external
LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display information only about LSAs based on
inter-area prefix LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display information only about LSAs based on
inter-area router LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display information about the link LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display information only about the network
LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display information on the intra-area-prefix
LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display information only about the router LSAs.
(Optional) Specifies to display only self-originated LSAs (from the local
router).
(Optional) Specifies to display all the LSAs of the specified area. It can
be specified as an IPv4 address.
