Command Mode
Interface Configuration Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 12.
Usage Guideline
This command only takes effect when the interface has an IPv6 address configured. Only one upstream
can exist in an MLD proxy device. Upstream performs the host portion of the MLD (RFC2710, RFC3810).
Example
This example shows how to configure the interface VLAN 3 to act as the proxy upstream interface.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# interface vlan3
Switch(config-if)# ipv6 mld proxy upstream
Switch(config-if)#
65-3 ipv6 mld proxy downstream
This command is used to configure an interface as a downstream in MLD proxy. Use the no form of this
command to disable the proxy function on the interface.
ipv6 mld proxy downstream
no ipv6 mld proxy downstream
