LDP. If the peer received the request message, it will reply the request message sender with MPLS echo

reply message. If the sender cannot receive reply before timeout, the "Request timed out" message will

be displayed.

This example shows how to check the connectivity of the PW with peer address 192.1.1.0 and VC ID 1.

Switch# ping mpls pseudowire 192.1.1.0 1

service encapsulation svid

This command is used to create a service instance on a switch port and enter the interface service

configuration mode with a specified encapsulation service VLAN ID.
