94-1 clear ipv6 rip
This command is used to clear the RIPng process.
clear ipv6 rip
Parameters
None.
Default
None.
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 12.
Usage Guideline
When a RIPng process is cleared, the routing database will be cleared and repopulated.
Example
This example shows how to clear the RIPng routing database.
Switch# clear ipv6 rip
Clear ipv6 rip? (y/n) [n] y

94-2 default-metric (RIPng)
This command is used to set the value used as the default metric for routes redistributed to RIPng. To
return to the default value, use the no form of the command.

Default
By default, this value is 1.
Specifies the default metric value. The valid value is from 1 to 16.
