4. Set the stop bits used by the device to which you want to connect:

5. Set the type of flow control used by the device to which you want to connect:
(config)>serial port1 flow value

7. Save the configuration and apply the change
(config)> save

8. Type exit to exit the Admin CLI.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type quit to disconnect from the device.

Your TX40 can be configured to support USB-to-serial adapters for serial access to the device, remote
serial out-of-band (OOB) access to other devices, or for use in python applications. The following USB-
to-serial chipsets are supported:

To add a USB serial port:
Web
1. Log into Digi Remote Manager, or log into the local Web UI as a user with full Admin access
rights.
2. Access the device configuration:
Remote Manager:
a. Locate your device as described in
