TA2020B & IR2110B Installation Guide 1 Introduction The TA2020B and IR2110B facilitate the transmission of data over ISDN networks. The units can be configured either by using commands entered at the serial port (much like a modem), or via the built-in Web interface. We recommend that you use the Web interface whenever possible. - Page 6 To comply with EMC requirements it should not be used with a longer cable. On the TA2020B this 9-way D socket provides an asynchronous SERIAL 1 RS2322 serial port which may be used to connect the unit to a compatible serial device.

The router should be positioned on a smooth, level surface making sure that there is adequate ventilation. - Page 10 You must now enter a name for the connection. It is helpful to choose a name that you will easily remember such as “My Local TA” or “TA2020B - Bristol Office”. Click Next >. The next dialog allows you to fill in the phone number for the connection.

Now select the Networking tab: Make sure that the Type of dial-up server I am calling is set to PPP: Windows 95/98/NT/2000, Internet and click on Settings: Make sure that all three options are unchecked before clicking OK to return to the Networking tab.
