Services
a. On the menu, click System. Under Configuration, click Device Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed.
3. Click Services > ITxPT.
4. Click Enable.
5. For Priority, type or select the priority for this ITxPT service. A lower number represents higher
priority. The default is 0.
6. For Weight, type or select the relative weight for records with same priority. A higher number
means that records from this service are more preferred. The default is 0.
7. (Optional) For Unique identifier, type an identifier that will be used to avoid naming conflicts.
8. Enable Service Discovery (mDNS)
Service Discovery (mDNS) must be enabled for ITxPT support. It is enabled by default. Follow
this procedure to enable it if has been disabled.
a. Click Services > Service Discovery (mDNS).
b. Click Enable.
c. Click Access control list to configure access control:

To limit access to specified IPv4 addresses and networks:
i. Click IPv4 Addresses.
ii. For Add Address, click .
iii. For Address, enter the IPv4 address or network that can access the device's
mDNS service. Allowed values are:
A single IP address or host name.
l
A network designation in CIDRnotation, for example, 192.168.1.0/24.
l
any: No limit to IPv4 addresses that can access the mDNS service.
l
iv. Click  again to list additional IP addresses or networks.
To limit access to specified IPv6 addresses and networks:
i. Click IPv6 Addresses.
ii. For Add Address, click .
iii. For Address, enter the IPv6 address or network that can access the device's
mDNS service. Allowed values are:
A single IP address or host name.
l
A network designation in CIDRnotation, for example, 2001:db8::/48.
l
any: No limit to IPv6 addresses that can access the mDNS service.
l
iv. Click  again to list additional IP addresses or networks.
To limit access to hosts connected through a specified interface on the TX40 device:
i. Click Interfaces.
ii. For Add Interface, click .
