Lens Plate and Springs

To replace the lens plate and springs

1. Shut down your system by following the steps in
on
page
149.
2. Remove the analyzer tray from the instrument by following the instructions in
"Removing the Analyzer Tray from the ISQ 7000 Instrument"
3. Disconnect the lens wires form the source interface board with a slotted screwdriver.
4. Use a T10 Torxhead screwdriver to disconnect the lens plate and springs from the lens
heater block.

5. Pull the upper portion of the lens plate out so the contacts are free of the lens heater
block. Slide the lens plate and springs down to clear it from the lens heater block.
6. Attach a new lens plate and springs to the lens heater block and reattach the screws.
7. Connect the lens wires form the source interface board with a slotted screwdriver.
8. Once the components are correctly attached to the analyzer tray, follow the instructions
in
"Replacing the Analyzer Tray"
9. Restart your system by following the instructions in
"Shutting Down the ISQ 7000 System"
