Notch on Ion Source Cartridge
2. With the notch on the ion source cartridge facing straight up, insert the ion source
cartridge into the instrument. See
Figure 75. Inserting the Ion Source Cartridge into the Instrument
3. Once the ion source cartridge is inserted into the ion source block, turn the small source
tool to the right until you feel the ion source cartridge engage.
4. Remove the small source tool from the instrument.
