Possible Remedies
Run Leak Check diagnostics to look for leaks and address them. Excessive gas flow may cause the pump to overheat.
Ensure the temperature of the lab environment is 15-35 °C. Otherwise, the turbomolecular pump may get too hot.
Power-off and vent the ISQ 7000 instrument. Let it cool to room temperature before powering it back on.
Make sure all covers are in place on the ISQ 7000 instrument. The airflow necessary to cool the turbomolecular pump will be insufficient
with the covers off.
Make sure the combined flow of carrier gas and CI reagent gas to the ISQ 7000 system is less than 10 mL/min.
