Removing the Analyzer Tray Components

To remove the analyzer tray components from the tray
1. Remove the wire connecting the quadrupole entrance lens to the source interface board
by unscrewing the terminal with a slotted screwdriver.
2. Remove the screws on each side of the endcaps.

3. Remove the entire quadrupole, as well as the ion guide, from the analyzer tray. Set them
all aside.
Note Make sure you set the rods on a clean, lint-free cloth. Dust and lint on the rods lead
to poor analytical performance.
4. Use a T10 Torxhead screwdriver to remove the lens heater block grounding strap screw
from the analyzer tray.
