Updating the Firmware on the Instrument

Your ISQ 70000 system has software on the instrument, called firmware, as well as software
on the computer that was shipped with it. This section describes how to upgrade both of
them.

To update the firmware on the ISQ 7000 instrument
1. Access the ISQ Manual Tune utility by selecting Air & Water / Tune on the ISQ 7000
Dashboard.
2. Right-click Firmware in the upper right corner. A new menu opens.
3. Select Update PC Communication Board Firmware.

4. Browse to the updated firmware file. Once the firmware is selected, a dialog box will
indicate that the firmware is being updated.
Tip Selecting Version Info gives you information about the current firmware version on
your instrument. This may be useful for troubleshooting.
