16. Look through the top of the instrument and use a T10 Torxhead screwdriver to loosen
the screw holding the filament retaining spring in place. Then rotate the spring away
from the filament.

17. Disconnect the filament board and wires from the source interface board.

18. Remove the filament.
19. Attach the connector of a new filament to the source interface board.
20. Insert the filament into its slot, rotate the spring into position, and slightly tighten the
screw holding the filament retaining spring in place.
Note Be sure the filament wires do not touch the source block or the manifold door when
closed.
