Replacing Components of the Ion Source

7. Remove the screw holding the lens plate and springs to the lens heater block.

8. Use a T20 Torxhead screwdriver to remove the screws holding the lens heater to the lens
heater block.
9. Remove and replace the lens heater block. Then put it back on the ion source.
10. Attach the lens plate and springs.
11. Attach the lens heater to the new lens heater block.
12. Slide the source interface board and ion source onto the tray without damaging or
disconnecting the wires.
