ISQ 7000 Hardware Manual
To clean the filters on the ISQ 7000 instrument
Note If your filters wear out or get damaged, see
information about replacing them. Optional dust filters are available. To order new filters,
refer to the ISQ and TSQ GC-MS Spare Parts Guide.
1. Open the front door of the instrument.
2. If you are using hydrogen as a carrier gas, unscrew the hydrogen safety screw.
3. Use a T10 Torxhead screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the filter frame to the
front interior panel.

4. Remove the filter from the frame.
5. Wash the filters in soap and water.
6. Let the filters dry.
7. Reattach the filters to the frame.
8. Reattach the two screws holding the filter frame to the instrument.
9. Close the front door of the instrument.
10. If you are using hydrogen as a carrier gas, retighten the hydrogen safety screw.
