3.5.10 Configuring safety stops
Introduction
The safety stops automatic stop (AS), general stop (GS), and emergency stop (ES),
are configured using the Visual SafeMove functionality in RobotStudio.
The automatic stop is configurable to be either an automatic stop (AS) or a general
stop (GS). The general stop will stop the robot in any operating mode. The automatic
stop will stop the robot in automatic mode.

Configure the safety stops in Visual SafeMove
Use this procedure to configure safety stops in Visual SafeMove.

Note
The safety stop configuration and available stops is different for OmniCore prior
to RobotWare 7.3. See
Note
It is not possible to configure both automatic stop and general stop on the
OmniCore C90XT without the use of a safe fieldbus.
WARNING
The new settings must be verified by test before the system is used.
