Feed from Tray 5
At the start of a print cycle the Tray 5 Nudger Roll moves a sheet of paper into Tray 5 Feed Roll. The
Feed Roll moves a single sheet of paper out of Tray 5 and toward the Tray 5 Take Away Roll. The Tray 5
Retard Roll makes sure that only one sheet of paper is fed. Tray 5 Take Away Roll drives the paper into
Tray 4 Take Away Roll. As the sheet of paper is driven to the Tray 4 Take Away Roll it actuates the Tray
4 Take Away Sensor, notifying the Printer Engine Controller PWB logic that the paper has left Take Away
Roll 5. Tray 4 Take Away Roll drives the paper into Tray 3 Take Away Roll. As the sheet of paper is
driven to the Tray 3 Take Away Roll it actuates the Tray 3 Take Away Sensor, notifying the Printer Engine
Controller PWB logic that the paper has arrived. The Tray 3 Take Away Roll drives the sheet of paper to
the Tray 2 Take Away Roll. As the sheet of paper is driven into the Take 2 Take Away Roll it actuates the
Tray 2 Take Away Sensor, notifying the Printer Engine Controller PWB logic that the paper has arrived.
The Tray 2 Take Away Roll drives the paper into the Registration Roll. After that the sheet continues
along the printer paper path until the sheet of paper, complete with fused image, is driven into an Output
Bin.
