REP 8.5.3.75 Top & Front Cover Interlock Switches

Removal
1 Switch off the printer power and disconnect the AC Power Cord.
2 Remove the Stapler Door Inner Cover Assembly (REP 8.5.3.3).
3 Open the Top Cover.
4 Disconnect J271 from the Top Cover Interlock Switch.
5 Use the flat blade of a screwdriver to push on the interlock switch locking tabs and remove it from
the Finisher frame.
6 Disconnect J270 from the Front Cover Interlock Switch.
7 Use the flat blade of a screwdriver to push on the interlock switch locking tabs and remove it from
the Finisher frame.
Replacement
1 Insert the Interlock Switch into the cutout in the Finisher frame.
2 Push in on the Switch until it snaps into place.
3 Reconnect J270 to the Front Cover Interlock Switch and J271 to the Top Cover Interlock Switch.
4 Reinstall the Stapler Door Inner Cover Assembly.
