24. Skip undefined parameters
There are cases where new parameters are added according to the software upgrading for robot
controllers. If you attempt to load the parameter file containing these new parameters into a
controller of an earlier version, an error "10.14:Undefined parameters" occurs.
If this parameter is set to "VALID", the undefined parameters (newly added parameters) in the
file will then be ignored. This parameter is not contained in the parameter file and is always set
to "INVALID" each time the power to the controller is turned on.

CAUTION
• if this parameter is set to "vAlid", then misspellings in the parameter file cannot
be detected. Do not use this function except for cases in which you must load
the parameters of a new version into a controller of an earlier version.
• this parameter number changes according to the controller version.

Ver. 10.61 onward
Select "23. Skip undefined parameters" in "SYSTEM>PARAM>OTHERS" mode.
