1. Analog C.O. Line

General
Here explains how to connect Analog Central Office (C.O.) Line. For this connection a Central Office Trunk
(COT) Circuit Card is required. When using MG (COT), refer to the part of the device you use in Volume 2.

Installation Procedure
Follow the procedure below to install an analog C.O. Line.
STEP 1: Install a COT circuit card into a proper slot of PIR for connecting analog C.O. Line. For more infor-
mation about COT circuit card, refer to the Circuit Card Description. When the analog C.O. Line is
connected to an available port of the already-installed COT card, this step is not necessary.
STEP 2: Check the terminal locations on the MDF. To identify the lead names and the lead's terminal locations,
refer to LT Connector Lead Accommodation of the circuit card in the Circuit Card Manual.
STEP 3: Provide the necessary cross connection on the MDF referring to the following figure.
