[2] Release Security Mode
STEP 1: While the Security Mode is in service (while the LCD displaying screen saver), press any key on
the terminal. Password entry box appears for releasing Security mode.
STEP 2: Enter the password and then press the software key for "OK."
Security lock will be released.
Please input a password.

STEP 3: Security LED turns OFF and the terminal exits Security mode.
The following explains for the case when error occurs in password entry.
Note:
- The LCD displays "Security Violation" below for a password entry error.

- Pressing the software key for "OK" will return to screen saver to keep Security mode.
- After keeping the "Security Violation" LCD for 10 minutes, password entry field will be dis-
played by pressing any key on the terminal.

CHAPTER 4
Enter password of the terminal or Admin Password to re-
lease the Security lock. To change the password, refer to
6.2.14 Password Change.
Default value of each password:
• Password of the terminal: 0000
- Pressing the software key for "Cancel" will
return to screen saver to keep Security
mode.
- Pressing the software key for "OK" will re-
quest the user to retry entering the
password.
- When the user mistake entering password
three times, the LCD displays "Secu-
rity Violation" below.
