Test lamp indications on the DRE
card in the DRU/DAU

Test of Battery Operations when a Power Supply Failure occurs at the DRU/DAU
START
Unplug the AC cord of the DRU/
DAU from the AC outlet
Plug the AC cord of the DRU/DAU
into the AC outlet

CHAPTER 2
Make sure that the lamp indications of the DRE card as shown
below.
LAMP NAME
LINK (G)
ALM (R)
LB (R)
When the lamp indications are as shown above, perform the fol-
lowing loop-back tests.
• Loop-back test between the DRU/DAU and the transmis-
sion equipment.
Make sure that the System Message "13-Q" is displayed.
Make sure that the POWER lamp of the DRU/DAU lights.
Make sure that the System Message "13-R" is displayed.
