2.2 Setting Procedure
[1] Prepare the DHCP, FTP server and DtermIP
Set up a DHCP and FTP server. DtermIP must be used with factory default settings. Even if the network
segment where the DtermIP exists is different with the segment of the DHCP or FTP servers, DtermIP
must be able to access the DHCP and FTP servers' segment.
[2] Create the Config file.
Use the application software "Config Setup APL" to create the Config file. Refer to the Config Setup APL
Instruction Manual for installation and use of the Config Setup APL.
Store the Config file (XX.ini) created by Config Setup APL into the download folder of the FTP server.
When setting different configuration data to two or more segments, each segment requires Config files
differently. These files are stored into the download folder of the FTP server. Only one Config file for
each segment can be downloaded through the AutoConfig feature.
[3] Add DHCP Option ID.
STEP 1: Highlight and right-click on the server, and then select "Setting Predefined Option".
