7.10 Loop-Back Diagnosis between DLI/DAI and Transmission Equipment
This section explains the procedure of loop-back diagnosis between the DLI/DAI and the transmission
equipment when the DLI/DAI and the DRU/DAU are connected via the transmission equipment.
7.10.1 Procedure for Loop-Back Diagnosis between DLI/DAI and Transmission Equipment
START
PCM Lamp (red) on the DLI/DAI card lights.
Set the corresponding switch of the DLI/DAI card
UP (ON), referring to the table below.
Switch setting for local loop-back check

On the DLI/DAI card, various lamps are indicat-
ing as follows.

See if the power supply to the transmission
equipment is normal. Test the connection be-
tween the DLI/DAI and the transmission equip-
ment.
FAULT : DLI/DAI is faulty

The MFRM Lamp is not mounted on the PA-
DAIJ-A card.
