Error Messages
The following messages may be displayed when an error occurs during IP Enabled Dterm setup.
ERROR MESSAGES
Parameter is Abnormal
Parameter Missing:
DHCP server cannot be found
DHCP Server Not Found
Exit
Cannot to Connect Network
Network Connect Reject
Exit
DRS Connection Timeout
DRS Connect Time Out
Exit
IP Enabled Dterm is not Registered

Error Message of IP Enabled Dterm (1/4)
EXAMPLE
In spite of "DHCP Disable," the IP ad-
dress of the terminal has not been as-
signed.
No answer from the DHCP server, af-
ter sending a request from the IP En-
abled Dterm.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment opera-
tion.)
Request was rejected by the DHCP
server, after sending a request from the
IP Enabled Dterm.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment opera-
tion.)
No answer from DRS, after sending
"initial setup request" from the IP En-
abled Dterm.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment opera-
tion.)
"Unregistered" is received from DRS,
after sending "initial setup request"
from the IP Enabled Dterm.
(From this indication, configuration
display can be shown by the ordinary
configuration data assignment opera-
tion.)
An invalid password is entered when
the user attempts to login to the IP En-
abled Dterm set in Login mode. (From
this indication, configuration display
can be shown by the ordinary configu-
ration data assignment operation.)

CHAPTER 4
CONFIGURATION SETUP
ACTION
Correct the data assignment.
Check the data assignment on "con-
fig" display, saving the data again.
If the error still remains, the flash
ROM may be faulty.
Connect a DHCP server to the same
network.
Change the IP Enabled Dterm param-
eter to "DHCP Disable."
Connect the IP Enabled Dterm to the
network.
Investigate the reasons why the
DHCP server rejected the request.
Connect the Telephony Server to the
same network.
Assign the same IP address to the
DRS connected to the network and
the IP Enabled Dterm.
Connect the IP Enabled Dterm to the
network.
Assign the corresponding IP Enabled
Dterm to the System.
Enter the correct password again.
(When an unknown Station Num-
ber (Station Number that is not
stored in the System memory
Card) is also entered, this mes-
sage will be issued.)
