27.6 Version Upgrade Procedure
This section explains the version upgrade procedure for SR–MGC. Execute the following pro-
cedure after assigning data on the Telephony Server (MGC) side (refer to the beginning of this
chapter for details).
27.6.1 Version Upgrade Procedure for SR T of SR–MGC
The following explains the procedure for SR T of SR–MGC version upgrade. To complete the version upgrade,
continue with the settings for SR S (refer to "Version Upgrade Procedure for SR S of SR–MGC").
[1] Power OFF
Turn off power for SR T.
[2] LAN Cable Disconnection
Disconnect LAN cable from the LAN1 port on the front panel of SR T.
[3] Compact Flash Card Removal
Remove Compact Flash Card from the PC Card slot on the front panel of SR T.
[4] Compact Flash Card Insertion
Insert the prepared Flash card (system program and the license have already been installed) to the PC
CARD slot.
[5] Power ON
Turn on power for SR T. SR T starts up with System Boot and default office data loading.
IP address is set to "172. 16. 253. 0" by default office data.

Verify that the LEDs on the front panel indicate as follows (refer to

[7] PC (PCPro) Connection (Local Connection)
To set office data, connect PC (PCPro command has been pre–installed) directly to LAN1 port on the
front panel of SR T. Use LAN cable (crossover) unless connection is via a hub.
[8] Connection Account Setting
STEP 1: Click [Connection Account Setting] on the Main Menu/toolbar to display the screen.
Enter the system name. This enables the user to Login to the specified system.
STEP 2: Select Connection Type and establish settings between PC (PCPro) and SR T:

STEP 3: PC (PCPro) Assignment:

Flashes Red in 2–second cycle (temporary minor alarm indication)
