storm-control level

Overview
Use this command to specify the threshold level for broadcasting, multicast, or
destination lookup failure (DLF) traffic for the port. Storm-control limits the
specified traffic type to the specified threshold.
Use the no variant of this command to disable storm-control for broadcast,
multicast or DLF traffic.
Syntax
storm-control {broadcast|multicast|dlf} level <level>
no storm-control {broadcast|multicast|dlf} level
Default
By default, storm-control is disabled.

Usage
Flooding techniques are used to block the forwarding of unnecessary flooded
traffic. A packet storm occurs when a large number of broadcast packets are
received on a port. Forwarding these packets can cause the network to slow down
or time out.
Example
To limit broadcast traffic on port1.0.2 to 30% of the maximum port speed, use
the following commands:
