hostIP — The IP address of the remote host.
filename — The name of the file for the database on the remote host.
Default Configuration
The database is stored locally by default.
Configuration Mode

Example
The following example configures the storage location of the snooping database as local.
console(config)#ip dhcp snooping database local
The following example configures the storage location of the snooping database as remote.
console(config)#ip dhcp snooping database
tftp://10.131.11.1/db.txt

ip dhcp snooping database write-delay

Use the ip dhcp snooping database write-delay command to configure the interval in seconds at
which the DHCP Snooping database will be stored in persistent storage. Use the "no" form of
this command to reset the write delay to the default.
Syntax
ip dhcp snooping database write-delay
no ip dhcp snooping database write-delay
seconds — The write delay (Range: 15–86400 seconds).
Default Configuration
The write delay is 300 seconds by default.
