specified for this command, a sequence number is selected that is one greater than the highest
sequence number currently in use for this interface and direction.
This command specified in Interface Configuration mode only affects a single interface.
Example
The following example assigns a MAC access group to port 1/g1 with the name DELL123.

Use the mac access-list extended command in Global Configuration mode to create the MAC

Access Control List (ACL) identified by the parameter.

Use this command to create a mac access control list. The CLI mode is changed to Mac-Access-
List Configuration when this command is successfully executed.

The following example creates MAC ACL and enters MAC-Access-List-Configuration mode.
