1583compatibility
Use the 1583compatibility command in Router OSPF Configuration mode to enable OSPF
1583 compatibility. Use the no form of the command to disable it.
Syntax
1583compatibility
no 1583compatibility
Default Configuration
Enabled is the default configuration.
Command Mode
Router OSPF Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
If all OSPF routers in the routing domain are capable of operating according to RFC 2328,
OSPF 1583 compatibility mode should be disabled.
Example
The following example enables 1583 compatibility.
