Use the vlan database command in Global Configuration mode to enter the VLAN database
configuration mode.

Example
The following example enters the VLAN database mode.
console(config)#vlan database
console(config-vlan)#
vlan makestatic
This command changes a dynamically created VLAN (one that is created by GVRP registration)
to a static VLAN (one that is permanently configured and defined). The ID is a valid VLAN
identification number. VLAN range is 2-4093.

vlan makestatic vlan-id
vlan-id — Valid vlan ID. Range is 2-4093.
