ipv6 pimsm hello-interval
Use the ipv6 pimsm hello-interval command to configure the PIM-SM Hello Interval for the
specified interface. Use the "no" form of this command to set the hello interval to the default.
Syntax
ipv6 pimsm hello-interval interval
no ipv6 pimsm hello-interval
• interval—The hello interval (Range: 0–65535 seconds).
Default Configuration
The default hello interval is 30 seconds.

Use the ipv6 pimsm join-prune-interval command to configure the interface join/prune interval
for the PIM-SM router. Use the "no" form of this command to set the join/prune interval to the
default.

no ipv6 pimsm join-prune-interval
• interval—The join/prune interval (Range: 0–18000 seconds).
Default Configuration
The default join/prune interval is 60 seconds.
