4.7 Host-LU QoS Management

Set SAS Host QoS
This function configures the bandwidth limit (the maximum performance limit) of the SAS host.

The ETERNUS DX500 S3/DX600 S3, the ETERNUS DX8700 S3/DX8900 S3, and the ETERNUS DX200F do not
support this function.
•
This function can be used, irrespective of whether the QoS mode has been enabled or disabled. If the QoS
mode has been disabled, the host starts the operation within the configured bandwidth limit after the
QoS mode is enabled.

Configure the port bandwidth limit on each port. Refer to the following sections for details:

Select the SAS host to configure a bandwidth limit (multiple selections can be made), and
click [Set SAS Host QoS] in [Action].
