3.1 Create Volume
Creating TPVs or a NAS Volume in an existing TPP
For detailed information about creating TPV type volumes, refer to
The procedure to create TPV type volume in the existing TPP is as follows:
Procedure

Click [Create] in [Action].

Select "Manual" for "RAID Group/TPP Selection".

Specify the detailed information of new volumes and select the TPP in which the volumes
are to be created.
The main setting items are as follows.

New Volume
• Name
• Capacity
• Type
• Allocation (not displayed for the ETERNUS DX60 S3)
• NAS FS Block Size

• Volume No.
• Number of Volumes
