For the ETERNUS DX100 S3/DX200 S3, the ETERNUS DX500 S3/DX600 S3, the ETERNUS DX8700 S3/DX8900 S3, or
the ETERNUS DX200F, the WWN is displayed in the [System] screen. Refer to "System (Basic Information)" in
"ETERNUS Web GUI User's Guide (Operation)" for details.

For older models, the storage system WWN is created from the FC port WWN. Refer to
storage system WWNs" (page 949)
•
For screens in which FC port WWNs are displayed, refer to
that the same storage system WWN is obtained from any FC port in the ETERNUS Disk storage system.
•
If only an iSCSI interface is installed in the ETERNUS Disk storage system, a storage system WWN cannot be
created. In this case, use the procedure in
create the storage system information file. After this file is created, use the obtained file to register the storage
system information with this function.
How to obtain the storage system WWNs
Create the storage system WWN from a FC port WWN.
• For ETERNUS DX8100 S2/ETERNUS DX8700 S2, ETERNUS DX8700 S2/ETERNUS DX8100 S2,
ETERNUS DX410 S2/DX440 S2, ETERNUS DX90 S2, or ETERNUS DX90

When the FC port WWN is "500000E0D4445884", the storage system WWN is "500000E0D4445800".
The underlined value indicates bit7 - 0 in the following example:

Input the WWN of the ETERNUS Disk storage system that is to be registered.
A WWN that is already registered in the ETERNUS Disk storage system cannot be
specified.
