1.4 Configuration Example
1.4.1 Network requirements
Log in to the switch through the Console port and enable address table
configuration.
Set the aging time of dynamic MAC address entries to 500 seconds.
Add a static MAC address entry 00e0-fc35-dc71 for GigabitEthernet1/0/2 port
(assuming that the port belongs to VLAN 1)

# Enter system view.

[Quidway]
# Add a MAC address, with the VLAN, ports, and states specified.
[Quidway] mac-address static 00e0-fc35-dc71 interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/2

# Set the aging time of dynamic MAC addresses to 500 seconds.
[Quidway] mac-address timer aging 500
# Display the information about the MAC address entries in system view.
