This section explains the AC97 Controller operation, namely, AC-Link, Power-down sequence and Wake-up
sequence.

which is a point-to-point synchronous serial inter-connecting that supports full-duplex data transfers. All digital
audio streams and command/status information are communicated via AC-link.
