metric: Metric added when a packet is sent, ranging from 0 to 16. By default, it is 1.
Description
Using the rip metricout command, you can configure the metric added to the route
when RIP packet is sent at the interface. Using the undo rip metricout command,
you can restore the default value.

Description
Using the rip output command, you can allow sending the RIP packets at the
interface. Using the undo rip output command, you can disable the function (reject
sending the RIP packets at the interface).
By default, any RIP packet at the interface is to be sent.
This command is used in collaboration with rip input and rip work. rip work is
functionally equivalent to rip input & rip output, which controls the receiving and
sending of RIP packets at the interface. Functionally, the former command is equal to
the sum of the latter two commands.
