Description
Using the bridge-set outbound-type command, you can configure to apply the ACL
encapsulated in Ethernet-II or Ethernet-SNAP form on an outbound interface. Using the
undo bridge-set outbound-type command, you can cancel the application of the ACL
encapsulated in Ethernet-II or Ethernet-SNAP form on an outbound interface.
This command makes the specified interface only forwards the Ethernet frame that
satisfies certain conditions.
Example
# Apply the ACL 204 encapsulated in Ethernet-II or Ethernet-SNAP form on the
outbound Ethernet interface0.
[3Com-Ethernet0]bridge-set 1 outbound-type acl 204

bridge-set bridge-set source-mac acl acl-number
undo bridge-set bridge-set source-mac acl acl-number

bridge-set: Bridge set number, in the range 1 to 63.
acl-number: Access control list number based on MAC address, in the range of 700 to
799.

based on MAC address on an inbound interface. Using the undo bridge-set
source-mac acl command, you can cancel the application of ACL based on MAC
address on an inbound interface.
This command makes the specified interface only accepts the Ethernet frame that
satisfies certain conditions.

# Apply the ACL 700 based on MAC address on the inbound Ethernet interface0.
[3Com-Ethernet0]bridge-set 1 source-mac acl 700
