Parameter
line-number: E1 channel number in the range of 1 to 16.
local: Enables E1 channel to loop internally.
remote: Enables E1 channel to loop remotely.
Description
Using the e1 set loopback command, you can enable E1 loopback or configure the
loopback mode of an E1 sub-interface on the E3 interface. Using the undo e1 set
loopback command, you can disable E1 loopback.
By default, E1 loopback is disabled.
If the link layer protocol of an E1 channel is PPP and setting loopback on it, it is
normal that the link layer protocol is reported as "DOWN".
