Description
Using the terminal telnet refuse-negotiation command, you can disable the telnet
client negotiation function. Using the undo terminal telnet refuse-negotiation
command, you can enable this function.
By default, the Telnet client negotiation is enabled.
For the Reverse Telnet terminal service of the router, it is sometimes necessary to set
up a connection via the TCP client. The client data are directly and transparently
transferred to the router via the transmission layer interface to communicate directly
with the asynchronous port corresponding to the port specified by the TCP connection.
You can disable the telnet negotiation function for Reverse Telnet terminal service via
the terminal telnet refuse-negotiation command.
This command is only effective for QuidwayR1600/2500/2500E/4000/4000E series of
routers.
