3Com Router Command Reference — V1.00
Description
Using the vrrp vrid virtual-ip command, you can configure a virtual IP address.
Using the undo vrrp vrid virtual-ip command, you can cancel a virtual IP address.
By default, VRRP function is not enabled on the interface.
This command is used to establish a backup group and can also be used to add
virtual IP address to an existing backup group. At most 16 virtual IP addresses can be
added to a backup group. The undo vrrp vrid virtual-ip command can be used to
delete an existing backup group or delete a certain virtual address in the backup
group. If the addresses of a backup group have all been deleted, the system will
automatically delete the backup group.
Example
# Create a backup group.
[3Com-Ethernet0]vrrp vrid 1 virtual-ip 10.10.10.10
