3.2.6 frame-format (CE1/PRI Interface)
Syntax
frame-format { crc4 | no-crc4 }
undo frame-format
View
CE1/PRI interface view
Parameter
crc4: Set the frame format on the CE1/PRI interface to CRC4 frame format.
no-crc4: Set the frame format on the CE1/PRI interface to non-CRC4 frame format.
Description
Using the frame-format command, you can configure the frame format on the
CE1/PRI interface. Using the undo frame-format command, you can restore the
default setting of the frame format on the interface.
The default frame format on the CE1/PRI interface is no-crc4.
When a CE1/PRI interface works in CE1/PRI mode, it supports two frame formats:
crc4 and no-crc4. The frame format crc4 supports the 4-bit Cyclic Redundancy
Check (CRC) on physical frames, whereas the frame format no-crc4 does not.
Example
# Set the frame format of E1 0 to crc4.
[3Com-E1-0]frame-format crc4
