3Com Router Command Reference Guide — V1.00
Description
Using the x25 ignore calling-address command, you can omit the X.121 address of
the calling DTE in outgoing calls while X.25 originates the call. Using the undo x25
ignore calling-address command, you can disable the function.
By default, this function is disabled.
According to X.25, the call request packet must carry the address code group. But in
some occasions, the X.25 call request does not have to carry the called/calling DTE
address in a specific network environment or as is required by the application. This
command enables you to specify whether the call request sent by X.25 in the 3Com
series routers carries the calling DTE address.
For related commands, see x25 response called-address, x25 response
calling-address x25, suppress-called-address.
Example
# No calling DTE address in outgoing x25 calls originated from interface Serial0.
