Parameter
seconds: Interval at which the poll Hello packet is sent from the interface, ranging
from 0 to 255 seconds. By default, the value is 120 seconds.
Description
Using the ospf timer poll command, you can configure the interval for sending poll
Hello packets at the NBMA and point-to-multipoint interfaces. Using the undo ospf
timer poll command, you can restore the default poll interval.
On the NBMA and point-to-multipoint networks, the Hello packet is sent at poll interval
when the neighbor fails. Users may configure the poll interval to specify the sending
period of the Hello packet before the neighbor relation between the interface and the
adjacent router is established. The poll interval should be set no less than 3 times of
the Hello interval.
