Description
Using the ipx update-change-only command, you can enable triggered RIP updates
sent on an interface. Using the undo ipx update-change-only command, you can
disable the function.
By default, this function is disabled.
The RIP of IPX and SAP will send updated broadcast packets cyclically. If the user
does not want the router to keep on sending such packets, he can enable the ipx
touch-off function at the interface. In this way, updated packets will be sent only when
change in the routing or service information occurs.
