ge-value, le-value: Specify prefix range ([ge-value,le-value]) of matched addresses
according to the following rule: len is not more than ge-value, ge-value is not more
than le-value which is not more than 32 Only selecting "greater-equal" means to limit
the prefix between ge-value and 32. Only selecting "less-equal" means to limit the
prefix between len to le-value.
Description
Using the ip ip-prefix command, you can add an item to the prefix list. Using the
undo ip ip-prefix command, you can cancel an item within an address prefix list or
an address prefix list.
By default, the address prefix list is not defined.
The address prefix list is used for IP address filtering. An address prefix list may
contain several items each specifies an address prefix range. The relations among
various filtering items are "OR", that is, an IP address will be permitted by the address
prefix list as long as it is permitted by any of the items. If an IP address is denied by
all filtering items, it will be denied by the address prefix list.
The address prefix range includes two parts that are decided by len and
[greater-equal ge-value] [less-equal le-value] respectively. If both parts are specified,
the IP must match both ranges in order to be permitted by the filtering item.
Example
# Define a prefix list that digits 1-8 and digits 17-18 of the IP address to be filtered are
matched with digits 1-8 and digits 17-18 in the specified IP hop 10.0.192.0.
[3Com] ip ip-prefix p1 permit 10.0.192.0/8 greater-equal17 less-equal 18
This address prefix list item indicates to match the 1st through 8th, 17th and 18th bits
of the IP address to be filtered against those of the specified IP network segment
10.0.192.0.
