Select the correct configuration file and Xmodem protocol in the [Send File] window of
the HyperTerminal, and then click [Send] button. After successful loading, the system
will prompt:

1.1.7 first-config

Syntax
first-config { set | reset }

Parameter
set: Set the flag bit. The system will initialize the configuration files whenever the
router is rebooted or restarted again after it is powered off.
reset: Delete the flag bit. The system will not initialize the configuration files whenever
the router is rebooted or restarted again after it is powered off.
Description
Using the first-config command, you can set the flag bit to enter the initial setup.
first-config set is used to set the flag bit of the initial setup. After the flag bit is set,
the router will delete the configuration files in Flash memory or NVRAM before the
system enters setup mode in case of power-off and reset.
first-config reset is used to cancel the setting of the flag bit.
