applications, however, users may desire to know their interested routes only, when
route filtering function is required. To implement this function, you should configure a
filtering rule first, designating the permitted or denied network segments, and then use
the filter-policy acl-number import command to validate the filtering rule.
Note that the OSPF filters the received routing information when adding it, after route
computation, to the routing table.
Example
# Filter the received routing information according to the rule defined in access list 2
[3Com] acl 2
[3Com-acl-2] rule permit source 20.0.0.0 0.255.255.255
[3Com-acl-2] rule deny any
[3Com-ospf] filter-policy 2 import

3.1.20 import-route

Syntax
import-route protocol [ cost cost ] [ type 1 | 2 ] [ tag tag-value ] [ route-policy
policy-name ]

Parameter
protocol: Source protocol where routes are being imported. Now they include direct,
static, RIP and BGP.
cost cost: Specify the cost value of the routes imported by the OSPF.
tag tag-value: Specify the tag value of the routes imported by the OSPF.
type: Specify the type of the routes imported by the OSPF. type 1 represents AS
external route type 1 and type 2 represents AS external routes type 2.
route-policy policy-name: Route import policy.
